Celebrating the Grand Opening of West Haven Village: Expanding Community Health Services

June 3, 2024, marked a momentous day for DeWitt as West Haven Village (WHV) officially opened its doors, enhancing our community’s access to essential health and support services. The ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrated not just a new facility but an expansion of the already established West Point’s commitment to comprehensive community care.
Local leaders, healthcare professionals, and community members gathered with enthusiasm to witness the grand opening. The atmosphere was electric with optimism and anticipation as the ribbon was cut, symbolizing a new era of expanded services for West Haven and the greater DeWitt area.
Introducing West Haven Village (WHV)
West Haven Village is a Community Support Service Provider (CSSP) dedicated to offering an extensive range of behavioral health and support services. Designed for individuals aged 21 and older enrolled in PASSE programs such as Arkansas Total Care, Empower, Summit, or CareSource, WHV provides vital services including group and individual therapy, crisis intervention, psych education, and medication therapy and management. Notably, WHV features a 24-hour emergency crisis intervention phone line, ensuring round-the-clock support for those in need.
Initially, WHV will serve the residents of West Haven who have chosen to receive services, with plans to extend their offerings to the broader community in the upcoming weeks. This careful rollout will allow WHV to optimize their services and maintain high standards of care.

The Continuum of Care: West Point and WHV
West Point, which has been a cornerstone of our community for some time, provides comprehensive behavioral health and primary care services. With the opening of WHV, the two facilities together form a robust network of care, ensuring that all residents and community members, whether they are on a PASSE program or not, have access to the support they need. West Point continues to offer services to individuals regardless of their insurance status, including private pay options, reinforcing its commitment to inclusive and accessible healthcare.
The synergy between West Point and WHV enhances the scope of services available, aiming to cater to the entire community’s needs, from mental health to primary care.

The success of WHV and the continued excellence of West Point are made possible by a dedicated team of healthcare and mental health professionals. The team includes:
